JCCI-EDI Outing 2026: A Day of Sunshine, Team Spirit, and Unforgettable Moments

It was still dark when we gathered at 3:30 AM on April 18, 2026 — but the energy was already unmistakable. The JCCI-EDI team was set for a long-awaited company outing 2026 at Blue Coral Beach Resort in Laiya, Batangas. By 4:00 AM sharp, the buses departed, and just like that, the day of adventure began.

Before hitting the road, everyone was given breakfast. It was a simple yet thoughtful gesture that set the tone for the day — showing how even the smallest details were carefully planned with everyone’s comfort in mind.

A View Worth Waking Up Early For

We arrived at Blue Coral Beach Resort at around 7:00 AM and were immediately welcomed by a breathtaking view. The soft sand, the clear waters, and the wide-open sky created a refreshing escape from the usual work environment. For many of us, including myself, it was our first time there — and it was truly memorable.

As part of the committee, I helped set up the program, which made the experience even more meaningful. Being involved behind the scenes gave me a deeper appreciation of the effort and teamwork required to make the event successful.

The program officially began with a prayer, followed by opening remarks from Ms. Carol, whose message set a positive and energizing tone for the rest of the day.

Where Teamwork Took Center Stage

The morning quickly came alive with a series of team-building games. Despite the intense heat, participants gave their all, proving that fun knows no weather conditions.

Highlights included:

  • Balloon Relay – coordination and teamwork at its best.
  • Telepathy Game – extended due to strong contenders.
  • Floor is Lava – strategy and communication in action.
  • Caterpillar Game – Ms. Carol herself joined and led her team to victory.
  • Agawan Bottle – Darwin, Dea, and Queenie emerged winners in fierce competition.
  • Last Man Standing – Jett Molas claimed the final victory.

More than just games, these activities strengthened teamwork, communication, and camaraderie among employees.

Celebrating Moments and Personalities

The awarding ceremony recognized participants for their unique traits and memorable moments.

Special awards included:

  • Alice Llamas – Vampire Award
  • Ruvia Apple – May Sariling Mundo
  • Tracy Piamonte – Most OA
  • Andrea Cinco – Pabebe Award
  • Masashi Yamada – Jollibee Award
  • Ms. Carol Dominguez – Most Competitive

For Best Outing Attire, Jerome Balusero won in the male category, while I took the female title — an unexpected highlight that made the day even more special.

Food, Fun, and Shared Experiences

Lunch was another highlight of the company outing. The food was delicious and plentiful, ensuring everyone was well taken care of. Sharing meals together created moments of connection that felt natural and meaningful.

The afternoon was dedicated to relaxation and enjoyment. Some swam, others took photos, and many simply appreciated the beautiful surroundings.

Adventure seekers rode the banana boat and UFO, while others danced and created TikTok videos — capturing laughter and spontaneity that defined the outing.

Ending the Day on a High Note

Before heading home, everyone gathered once more to eat and unwind, making the most of the remaining time. At around 5:00 PM, we left the resort and arrived back at the office at nearly 8:00 PM — tired but filled with genuine happiness and stories to tell.

More Than Just a Day Out

The company outing was more than just a break from work. It was a celebration of teamwork, appreciation, and shared experiences. It gave everyone the opportunity to connect beyond their usual roles and build stronger relationships in a relaxed and enjoyable environment.

From early morning preparations to exciting games, unexpected wins, and meaningful moments, the outing reminded us of the value of stepping away from routine and simply enjoying each other’s company.

A Day to Remember

From sunrise to sunset, every part of the day contributed to an experience that brought the team closer together.

For me, being part of the committee, participating in the activities, and unexpectedly winning an award made it even more special. It wasn’t just an outing — it was a memory I will always carry with me.

Indeed, the company outing was a day of sunshine, team spirit, and unforgettable moments.
