A Thoughtful Close to the JC Board Meeting and Leadership Retreat in Hong Kong

The fourth and final day of the JC Board Meeting and corporate leadership retreat in Hong Kong unfolded at a noticeably different pace. For some, the day proved more physically demanding, especially for those unaccustomed to long walks and uphill treks. Yet it ultimately became a fitting and meaningful conclusion to the retreat. Reflection, resilience, and shared experience shaped the day, offering lessons that extended well beyond the itinerary.

Ferry Ride to Lamma Island

The day began with a scenic ferry ride to Lamma Island, one of Hong Kong’s most beloved outlying islands. Known for its car-free lifestyle, traditional fishing villages, and relaxed atmosphere, Lamma Island offers a refreshing escape from the intensity of Hong Kong’s business districts. Communities such as Yung Shue Wan and Sok Kwu Wan reflect the island’s unique blend of local heritage, eco-conscious living, and creative spirit.
