Celebrating Excellence: How Top Talents Thrive Through Every Season

John Clements Consultants and EDI-Staffbuilders International, Inc. successfully concluded their Sales and Production Conference for May, June, and July on August 16, 2025. Anchored on the theme “Rain or Shine: Built to Withstand, Made to Perform,” the event celebrated the organization’s resilience, adaptability, and unwavering commitment to excellence—highlighting the achievements of its top-performing employees who consistently deliver results in all conditions.

Kicking Off with Tradition and Togetherness

As it has been a tradition for over a year now, the Sales and Production Conference began with a fun run at 5:40 AM, starting from the LKG Tower and looping around Ayala Triangle for about an hour. The early morning energy set the tone for the day—active, connected, and purposeful. After the run, participants gathered at Salcedo Market for a well-deserved breakfast and cool down. In a heartfelt gesture, Ms. Carol distributed special suman with latik, adding a sweet and nostalgic touch to the morning. It was more than just a meal—it was a moment of shared joy and community.

Weathering Challenges and Empowering Insights

The day opened with welcoming remarks that immediately set the tone for what would be an engaging and purposeful gathering. Energy rose even higher during the relay competition, where one representative each from Enterprise Sales, Outsourcing, EDI, and Service Delivery stepped forward. It highlighted endurance and adaptability. The spirit of the game aligned perfectly with the theme, reminding everyone that whether in sunshine or storm, the ability to withstand pressure and still perform is a defining trait of strong teams.

Following this burst of activity came one of the most anticipated segments of the day: the keynote address from Ms. Cammille Cruz, CEO and Founder of Shin Japanese Language and Training Corporation. Her presence brought a depth of inspiration that went beyond business insights. She shared personal stories about her upbringing, speaking of the values of faith, perseverance, and integrity that her family instilled in her. She then recalled her family’s struggles during Typhoon Ondoy in 2009, one of the most destructive typhoons that hit the Philippines. The message deeply resonated with the audience, reinforcing the belief that resilience and determination are vital not just for survival but for long-term success.

Performance Reports and Achievements

The next part of the program balanced business with warmth. Sales and Production Consultants presented their reports covering the months of May, June, and July. The reports were made more engaging by integrating personal touches. Each consultant shared their favorite comfort food or rainy-season activity, whether it was savoring a steaming bowl of noodle soup or ramen, cooking a special family recipe, binge-watching their favorite TV series/movies, or curling up under a warm blanket with loved ones. In doing so, the presentations became more relatable, emphasizing that success is not just about performance metrics but also about people—how they live, what inspires them, and what keeps them grounded.

It was a symbolic gesture that no matter how long or short one has been part of the company, every individual has a role to play in its ongoing success.
