  • Research-based: Unlike a number of other assessments we’ve seen, Zenger Folkman’s assessment is based on solid research. Using advanced statistical methods, Zenger Folkman has analyzed hundreds of thousands of 360-degree assessments. From this analysis, it has developed insights into the competencies that distinguish extraordinary leaders from less effective ones.
  • Global norms: As competition has heated up in the Philippines, companies increasingly are recognizing how critically important it is to have managers and executives who can perform to a higher standard. But how can managers know what that standard is? Zenger Folkman, by virtue of the hundreds of thousands of assessments that it has conducted globally across widely varying industries, provides an international benchmark against which managers can gauge their performance.
  • Strengths-based: Most assessment tools focus on a person’s weaknesses and dwell on how to correct those shortcomings. While there certainly can be benefits in doing this, one of Zenger Folkman’s key insights is that, unless you have a fatal flaw, you are more likely to advance your leadership effectiveness by building on your strengths.
  • Well-structured approach to an individual leadership development plan: Frequently, those who have taken 360-degree assessments are simply handed the results and told to review them and decide for themselves how to use those results. This limits the potential benefits of a 360-degree assessment. Zenger Folkman takes a different approach. It provides a carefully structured, step-by-step approach to creating an individual leadership development plan. This plan typically is created on the same day that individuals receive the results of their 360-degree assessments.
