John Clements Consultants and EDI-Staffbuilders International embraced the Olympic spirit during their Monthly Sales and Production Conference on August 17, 2024, themed “Going for the Gold.” The theme also hinted at the upcoming 50th Anniversary of the company, which will be celebrated in November.
Mini Olympics and Motivational Insights
The conference featured a Mini Olympics, where teams from Enterprise Sales, Outsourcing, EDI, and Service Delivery competed. Outsourcing won gold, Enterprise Sales took silver, and EDI secured bronze. The event also included a motivational talk by Maria Esmeralda Mendoza, a 22-year-old cum laude graduate, former soccer player, and current HR Manager. She shared her journey and emphasized the need for greater government support for Filipino athletes, encouragement from families, and societal recognition of sports careers as viable and lucrative.
Performance Reports and Sports Reflections
Following the learning session, Sales and Production Consultants presented their performance reports for May, June, and July, resuming after the celebration of the 15th Cady Awards. Each consultant answered a thought-provoking question about their current or past sports involvement, sparking nostalgic discussions about their athletic experiences. Many shared their current interests in activities such as running, basketball, free diving, and weightlifting.
Celebrating Achievements and Remembering a Legacy
The conference concluded with the awarding and recognition of top performers over the past three months, celebrating the achievements of nominees, winners, and Top Millionaires Club members. A moment of remembrance was dedicated to Leocadio J. Dominguez, the founder of JCCI-EDI, who passed away 22 years ago. Additionally, a video highlighting the recent 8th Indian Independence Day Friendship Golf Tournament, held on August 16, was also shown.
