November Sales Conference and Fun Run: A Day of Team Spirit and Gratitude

Last November 15, we brought together the JCCI – EDI team and our client, Kroll Global Solutions, for a day that blended fitness, recognition, teamwork, and gratitude. This joint gathering highlighted the spirit of collaboration that continues to strengthen us as a community. It was also our first time hosting a Fun Run with Kroll, which made the event even more meaningful. Despite the rainy weather, everyone showed up with excitement and good energy, ready to make the most out of the day.

Energizing Start: Zumba Warm-Up

We started the morning with a lively Zumba session inside the building. It was the ideal warm-up to set the tone for our Fun Run. The upbeat music, group energy, and shared laughter instantly lifted the atmosphere. The Zumba session helped ease everyone into the day while encouraging movement, coordination, and fun.

Running Together in the Rain

Right after warming up, we all headed to the starting point of the Fun Run. Even with the rain pouring, nobody backed out. Instead, the weather added a refreshing challenge that made the run even more memorable. Seeing employees from JCCI – EDI and Kroll run side by side created a special moment of unity that everyone appreciated.

Breakfast and Bonding at Van Gogh

Once we crossed the finish line, we gathered at Van Gogh for a well-deserved breakfast. It was the perfect moment to recover, talk, and enjoy each other’s company. The atmosphere at Van Gogh felt warm and rewarding, as if the early morning rain and exercise opened the door to deeper connections and shared stories.

Monthly Sales Conference: A Theme of Thanksgiving

After breakfast, we headed to the JCCI – EDI Monthly Sales Conference. For November, our theme was Thanksgiving, a meaningful reminder of gratitude, teamwork, and recognition. We opened the conference with the sales report, where each update highlighted the consistent effort of the team and the progress we made over the past month. It was encouraging to see tangible results shaped by collective dedication.

Insights from Dr. Grace Alcid

We then enjoyed an insightful segment facilitated by Dr. Grace Alcid. She shared a brief history of Thanksgiving along with engaging fun facts that connected the tradition to themes of appreciation, community, and reflection. Her presentation added a refreshing touch to the program and helped everyone refocus on the importance of gratitude in the workplace.

Production Report and Employee Recognition

The Production report followed, presenting milestones and key updates from the team. After reviewing performance highlights, we moved on to one of the most exciting parts of the program: employee recognition. We honored our Top Sales Consultants, Top Production Consultants, and other awardees who made standout contributions this month.

A Day of Reflection and Gratitude

The entire day gave us more than just numbers and accomplishments. It reminded us that our strength lies in working together, supporting one another, and taking time to celebrate wins both big and small. The Fun Run gave us a reason to move, laugh, and connect. The Sales Conference helped us realign and reflect. And the Thanksgiving theme tied everything together by encouraging us to look back with gratitude and look forward with purpose.

Key Takeaways for Thanksgiving

The Thanksgiving portion of our program reminded us that gratitude creates stronger connections and healthier workplaces. Taking time to acknowledge one another’s efforts strengthens trust and encourages a culture where everyone feels appreciated. Running in the rain with colleagues and clients showed how shared experiences can bring people closer. Our performance reports emphasized why progress, no matter the pace, deserves to be celebrated.

Recognizing top performers reinforced the importance of encouragement as fuel for motivation. Most importantly, Thanksgiving taught us that gratitude is not limited to a holiday; it is a mindset that helps us stay grounded, inspired, and connected every day.

Closing Reflections

As we look back at the November Sales Conference and Fun Run, we carry with us the memories of teamwork, resilience, and appreciation. The rain didn’t stop us from enjoying the morning, and the conference strengthened our sense of purpose as we move toward the coming months. It was a day that celebrated people, progress, and gratitude, and it reminded us of the value of showing up—for ourselves, for our teams, and for the community we continue to build together.
