  • John Clements Launches SOC Cyber Analyst Reskilling Program: A Comprehensive Training Initiative

In an ever-evolving digital landscape, businesses and organizations worldwide face a critical concern: cybersecurity. Recognizing the growing demand for skilled cybersecurity professionals, John Clements Consultants Inc. (JCCI) launched its first SOC Cyber Analyst Reskilling Program to equip participants with the necessary skills and certifications to excel in the field.

Participant Selection and Program Overview

The search for participants began in March. Thirteen dedicated recruiters screened over 200 candidate profiles meticulously. After an extensive selection process, JCCI chose 37 individuals to join the 12-week, fully mentored program, delivered live by a master trainer from Nemstar Information Security.

Comprehensive Training Schedule

The SOC Cyber Analyst Reskilling Program offered comprehensive training through various formats, including live sessions, coaching, mentoring, and exam preparation. Participants followed this schedule:

  • 8-hour full-day training sessions every Saturday for 8 weeks
  • 1-hour weekly coaching and mentoring sessions
  • 2-hour weekly exam cram sessions

This demanding schedule prepared participants well for the challenges ahead, balancing theoretical knowledge with practical skills.

Prestigious Certifications

Upon completing the program, participants earned three prestigious certifications: Certified Information Security Management Principles (CISMP), CompTIA Security+, and Certified SOC Analyst (C|SA). These certifications hold high regard in the cybersecurity industry and signify a robust understanding of key concepts and practices.

Graduation and Recognition

Out of the initial 37 participants, 31 demonstrated exceptional commitment and completed the program. To support their professional journey further, JCCI’s Service Delivery Hub recruiters and the Director of Learning and Development hosted an “Acing the Interview” session on July 20. This session ensured participants were well-prepared to present their new skills to potential employers.

Celebrating Achievements

The graduation ceremony celebrated the achievements of all participants. Special recognition went to individuals who exhibited extraordinary performance throughout the program:

  • Matthew Lucos achieved the highest test score in CISMP with 85 points.
  • Jethro Gringo Creencia secured the highest score in Security+ with 794 points.
  • Rodel Antonio achieved a perfect score of 100% in C|SA.
  • Johanna Lindsey Pasco received the Cyber Shield Queen Award as the best-performing female in the program.
  • John Jeff Michael Borres won the Trivia Titan award for having the most correct answers in the fastest time during Kahoot quizzes.
  • Kenneth Bryan Piamonte earned recognition for his active promotion of the SOC Cyber Analyst program on LinkedIn, showcasing his dedication and enthusiasm.

A Bright Future in Cybersecurity

The SOC Cyber Analyst Reskilling Program by John Clements provided participants with valuable skills and certifications, paving the way for future success in the cybersecurity field. The program’s comprehensive approach, combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience, ensures that graduates are well-prepared to tackle the challenges of modern cybersecurity.

Looking Ahead

The success of the first SOC Cyber Analyst Reskilling Program sets a promising precedent for future initiatives, empowering individuals with the skills to protect and secure our digital world. As the cybersecurity landscape continues to evolve, programs like these are essential for building a safer, more resilient digital future.
