A Season of Waiting
In my season of waiting, I clung to the only thing I could, which is hope. Some days felt slow and silent, others uncertain and long. There were no grand signs or thunderous breakthroughs—just quiet mornings, unanswered prayers, and the relentless ticking of time. But I held on.
“I’ll take it one day at a time,” I told myself.
I chose to take one day at a time and simply trust the process. Then, finally, something shifted. A door opened a new beginning filled with light and purpose with John Clements.
A Personal Encounter with Healing
As a child of God, the recent healing session with Father Momoy stirred deep emotions within me. As someone who had been quietly yearning for spiritual guidance, I thought I could hold it together. The moment Father Momoy told me to PRAY after he prayed over me, it was my last straw. I felt it. It was raw. It was real. I didn’t anticipate how emotional the healing session would be, but I was healed not just physically, but as well as emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
Through tears and silence, something in me began to mend. The session rekindled something sacred: my passion to serve the Lord, along with the responsibilities I now carry.
My heart, once weary and unsure, found warmth again. The healing wasn’t loud—it was gentle. And it was exactly what I needed, and I know the others felt it too.
Coming Home to Faith
The thanksgiving mass that followed felt different. It was deeper and more personal because it wasn’t just a routine act of devotion. It was a reminder of the very place I had drifted from. Years ago, I served as a church volunteer. It was one of the most fulfilling parts of my youth. But after college, the rhythm of life changed. Work, pressure, and everyday responsibilities quietly pulled me away.
Listening to the homily, I realized how much I missed the sense of belongingness and purpose. The mass reminded me how deeply important commitment is, not just to God, but in every area of life. It was a reminder that faith isn’t something we practice only when it’s convenient. True discipleship shows up in struggles, but also in quiet moments of joy, in small victories, and in everyday life.
At the end of the day, it’s about surrendering over and over again. Not just when we’re broken, but even when we’re thriving. It will always be for the greater glory of God.
A Celebration of Life
To wrap up the morning, a lunch dedicated to Ms. Alicia to celebrate her birthday was filled with laughter, shared stories, and overflowing gratitude. The food was great, but it was the company that made it more special as she was surrounded by warm smiles and heartfelt wishes from her family and colleagues. It was more than just a meal as it was a moment of joy, healing, growth, and celebration of life.
Stepping Into July with Hope and Carried by Grace
As June came to a close, it left behind a deep sense of peace. Welcoming the month of July felt like stepping into a new chapter filled with restored hope and opportunities, not only for me but for John Clements as well.
Beyond the changes, the waiting, the celebrations, I remain what I’ve always been: a child of God.
There are still days when I feel small, when the weight returns. But on those days, I whisper the same prayer I always have: “Carry me, oh Lord.” And somehow, He does. It is a quiet miracle of how He never lets me walk alone. I’ve come to believe that as surely as the sun rises each morning, grace rises with it.
So, I keep trusting. I keep believing. I keep choosing not to give up. Because sometimes, faith isn’t about loud declarations or mountain-moving miracles. Sometimes, it’s simply waking up, choosing to try again and trust the Lord.
