On May 17, 2025, JCCI-EDI held its Monthly Sales and Production Conference. Since May opens with the celebration of Labor Day, the organizing committee from the Service Delivery Hub chose to spotlight professions beyond the traditional 9-to-5 office work, celebrating diverse career journeys and the pursuit of passion.
The program began with the energetic hosting of Gerald Garcillano and Shannon Phoebe Porteza. Nathan Salenga gave the opening remarks, followed by a fun icebreaker game where the fastest team to guess the correct song title won. This lively activity served as a segue into the highlight of the day: a special guest whose career is shaped by music, voice, and passion.
Behind the Mic with DJ Chloe
DJ Chloe of 96.3 Easy Rock graced the event and shared her inspiring career journey. She offered an engaging behind-the-scenes look into one of the most prominent radio stations in the Philippines. DJ Chloe spoke candidly about how her career started, the challenges she faced, and how she and her team have remained relevant amid the changing media landscape.
She shared how radio has adapted to technology—leveraging social media, launching a mobile app, and even exploring AI integration. Beyond her work behind the mic, DJ Chloe also participates in events like movie premieres, mall shows, and office blowouts. In one initiative, listeners are encouraged to send an email about why they tune in, and the station surprises a selected office with a special treat.
The audience had the chance to ask DJ Chloe questions before she turned the tables, asking her own and giving away prizes. The session was filled with laughter, learning, and inspiration.
Feasting and Celebrating Wins
After the insightful talk, the team enjoyed a hearty breakfast of Spanish sardines, salted egg with tomatoes, rice, and fish balls paired with spiced vinegar.
The next part of the program included the performance presentations, beginning with the sales and production reports. New team members were also welcomed. Then came the most anticipated segment—the awards.
