On March 7, 2025, the HR Department successfully organized an on-site application for the Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card and Loyalty Card Plus at JC Hub’s Milan Room. This initiative provided employees with an easy way to apply for their cards without visiting a Pag-IBIG branch.
A Hassle-Free Application Process
Employees who had not yet availed themselves of the Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card or Loyalty Card Plus could now apply conveniently at the office. The kiosk also assisted those needing to update or correct their Pag-IBIG records, eliminating the need for a branch visit.
By bringing this service directly to the workplace, the HR Department reinforced its commitment to employee welfare. Providing access to essential government services in a convenient setting helped ensure a smoother process for everyone.
What is the Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card?
Introduced in 2012, the Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card provides members with added benefits and privileges. It serves as a valid ID for government and financial transactions while offering exclusive perks.
Key Benefits:
✅ Exclusive Discounts – Cardholders enjoy discounts on medical services, tuition fees, hotel stays, restaurants, and retail stores.
✅ Valid Government ID – The card can be used for opening bank accounts, job applications, availing of government services, and even voting.
✅ Priority Lanes – Cardholders receive priority in Pag-IBIG branches for faster transactions.
In 2019, Pag-IBIG launched the Loyalty Card Plus, which offers additional benefits. More than just an ID, it also functions as a cash card.
With the Loyalty Card Plus, members can:
✔ Receive loan proceeds directly, including multi-purpose loans and MP2 savings dividends.
✔ Withdraw cash from ATMs and make online transactions.
✔ Pay bills and purchases conveniently.
Cardholders can also choose from partner banks such as UnionBank and Asia United Bank (AUB) for smoother transactions.
A Smooth and Organized Application Process
To ensure efficiency, employees were reminded in advance to prepare the following:
🔹 A ballpen for filling out the application form.
🔹 ₱125 processing fee.
🔹 Two (2) valid government-issued IDs.
🔹 PSA Birth Certificate and/or Marriage Certificate (for record updates or corrections).
These preparations helped streamline the application process. Employees completed their applications in just a few minutes, with Pag-IBIG representatives assisting them efficiently.
The kiosk operated from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with the last call for applications at 3:30 PM. Employees could visit the booth at their convenience, making it easier to complete their applications without interfering with work.
The HR Department’s Commitment to Employee Welfare
This initiative reflected the HR Department’s dedication to improving the employee experience. By bringing essential services to the workplace, employees avoided long queues at Pag-IBIG branches and processed their applications stress-free.
The HR team continues to explore more collaborations with government agencies to provide accessible services for employees. Many employees expressed gratitude and hope for similar initiatives in the future.
Employees Appreciated the Time-Saving Service
Employees responded positively to the initiative, expressing appreciation for the convenience of handling applications at work. This service saved them valuable time and effort, allowing them to complete their requests without disrupting their schedules.
One employee shared:
“I’ve been meaning to apply for my Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card for months, but I just couldn’t find the time to visit a branch. Having this service right here in the office made the process so much easier and more convenient.”
Another employee, who needed to correct their details, said:
“This initiative was a lifesaver! I had incorrect details in my records, and I thought I’d have to take time off just to visit a Pag-IBIG branch. Being able to process everything in the office was incredibly helpful.”
The process was also efficient. With clear instructions provided beforehand, applicants arrived prepared with the necessary documents. As a result, applications were processed quickly, minimizing wait times. Pag-IBIG representatives handled transactions smoothly, allowing employees to complete their applications within minutes.
A total of 67 employees applied for the Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card during the event, highlighting the strong demand for this service.
A Resounding Success!
The on-site Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card application at the JC Hub was a huge success. With smooth processing, an organized setup, and efficient assistance, employees completed their applications quickly and conveniently.
By eliminating the need for a branch visit, this initiative saved employees time and effort. It also reinforced the HR Department’s ongoing commitment to employee welfare.
With this success, employees can look forward to more workplace programs that bring essential government services closer to them, making work-life balance easier to achieve.
