The New Managers Program combines educational materials with practical scenarios. In addition to the in-person and virtual three-hour sessions, entrants will receive additional tools to recognize and implement high-level knowledge skills. John Clements Consultants, Inc. uses a unique combination of choice modules from CrossKnowledge, a Wiley company, and carefully curated Harvard Case Studies. The persons and events depicted in these various videos, cases, and articles are inspired by real events and potential challenges that managers of today may face.
The scenarios are simulated, but the theories are solid. How alarmed should the characters feel? What temperament should they maintain? When is a soft touch or a firm direction needed? Should they play it safe? Take a chance? Potential solutions are encouraged, and debated, challenging preconceptions and revealing unforeseen manager skill combinations.
The first session for the forthcoming batch begins on February 17, 2023, with weekly manager skill sections until April 21, 2023. With the knowledge they’ve accrued, students will be tasked to formulate a legitimate and informed plan to improve their respective businesses during the program’s Final Presentation (Action Learning Projects) date on April 28, 2023.
